Hello there, I'm Sarah and I've been making websites for other people for over 20 years.

I'm based in the UK, and after completing my illustration degree, started working as a greetings card illustrator before finding full-time work as the designer at local website company.

I found I loved crafting things with css and html just as much as with paint and pencils, and that really enjoyed making things better for people.

Unfortunately, my old company wouldn't let me work from home or start earlier in the mornings (it's when I work best) and in 2006 I decided to go it alone. 

Well, what a huge learning curve that turned out to be! With programmers no longer on-hand to help, another colleague suggested Joomla!® on a project we were working on together, and I've been using it ever since.

With its multitude of options, extensions and layout overrides, you can really make it your own. However, all these options can make it confusing for admins who aren't very technical and I thought it was high-time I started to help out. 

The extensions on this website have either been used in some form in previous clients websites, or have been in the back of my mind for years thinking that they would make things easier for them.
